The Shark Fin® Shear Company warrants all Shark Fin® Professional Shears to be free from defects in manufacturing.  In the event of a defect in materials or workmanship return your shear to us for repair or replacement. A full shear assessment will need to be performed by a Shark Fin technician for determination of the defect. **For purchases made through a third party, please contact the seller for their return and exchange policy details**

Accidental Damage Warranty

If you damage your Shark Fin Shear and we cannot repair it, we will replace your shear at our discretion. Theft of a shear is not covered under the warranty policy. For Beauty you will be charged $200.00 on our Professional, Professional Plus and Super Swivel and $300.00 for the Double Shark Fin and Monarch and $600 for the Damascus – shipping is not included. For Grooming you will be charged $100.00 for Silver, Dirty Dawgz and $200 for Gold, Platinum, Metalist Lines – shipping is not included.

Sharpening Policy

Use of non-certified sharpeners will void your warranty; using our certified sharpeners keeps you from voiding your warranty and will increase the life of your shears significantly.

ALL service and sharpening on Shark Fin Shears MUST be performed by a certified Shark Fin sharpener. Sharpening services such as nicks, chips, dull blades, dropped shears or any damage occurred through daily use are considered a routine maintenance and is not covered under the warranty.

The full cost of the service is the customers responsibility and is to be paid directly to the sharpener at the time of the service. Every time you need to have your shears sharpened you are required to check our list or call to make sure the sharpener you previously used is still certified by Shark Fin.

Try Shark Fin® Shears for 30 days , if you don’t absolutely love them send them back within 30 days from the purchase date in new condition (no nicks and chips in blades) with all the packaging material for a full refund less the original shipping charge. No returns will be accepted unless prior authorization has been granted and a Return Authorization (“RA”) number has been assigned. To receive your RA number, please contact us by email or phone. Return shipment is made to us prepaid only. Returns are subject to our inspection. Please include a copy of your original invoice for items returned. 30-day trial period applies to retail customers only. If a shear is purchased through a third party seller, the order is subject to the third party sellers return or exchange policy.  Distributors are entitled to a merchandise credit.Â
