Dear Shark-Fin,
My name is Huber Pineda, I am the current "Animal Planet's Groomer of the Year" and I just wanted to let you guys know how much I love and apreciate your product. Last year I saw your booth at the Pasadena show here in California, I was curious and intrigued by the looks of your shears, I came to be fitted and for some reason I just dismissed it as being just a weird looking pair of shears, it felt "different" in my hand and I just thought to myself "Great idea... but not for me".

I have been suffering from tennis elbow and the pain in my right wrist has been getting worse and worse, I've tryed accupuncture, massage, hot wax treatments and inevitably I had to bite the bullet and get the horribly painful cortizone shots, anyone who has endured the process will tell you how painful it is. I had made peace with the idea that I will have to endure the procedure every so often in order to keep myself from taking industrial amounts of Aleve... to be honest with you, I dread taking all kinds of pills and shots in my body, I guess I am more of a "Holistic" type of guy, so when I attended the "All American Grooming Show" in Chicago and I saw your booth, I took a new interest in your product, this time around I took a seminar by Kathleen Sepulveda and I really paid attention to what she was saying and about how to properly use the shears, at the end she offered to join her in the stage and to try the shears on the poodle that she was demonstrating it on, with a bit of patience and good coaching from her part I realized this could be a great thing for me!

To be honest with you, I still felt it a bit weird in my hand and I told her so, she encouraged me to stop by at the booth and to get properly fitted by one of your reps. I had the luck of meeting Randy Ferman who generously gave me a pair of shears and told me to just give it some time and to play with them, if I didn't like them... well, I just had to send them back and no harm done. Well... I did as I was told, I gave them some use, played with them and got used to them, to me, it didn't come easy, I have to admit it took 2 to 3 weeks to really feel comfortable using them, I had to alternate in between my conventional shears and the swivel shark fins, but I did.

Needless to say... it's been some time since then and I am just at a loss of words! (trust me... it doesn't happen that often!) Since then, I haven't had to visit my Doctor for more cortizone shots, I still visit the accupuncturist but not for the pain in my wrist, elbow or shoulder... I do it because I love to relax and enjoy the treatment, I don't have to go there in pain looking for relief!!! When people ask me what kind of shears I use... guess what my answer is? Thanks for such a wonderful product, I will forever be grateful.

I just wanted to share how HAPPY I am with my new shears. This is the first time that I truly BELIEVE that I found shears that were made for my hand. Within my first few days of using them I noticed a difference in my quality of scissoring and a reduction in my hand strain. Now, after using them for a while I would rather give my first born than part with my Shark Fins.

I was introduced to Shark shears for the first time at a trade show. I am left handed and have had difficulty switching over from having used right handed shears my whole life. I have tried twice before with other shears only to revert back to right handed shears when I started folding the hair instead of cutting it. I credit both the awesome customer service and the shears themselves for helping me once and for all start using left handed shears. It's a heck of a lot easiesr working with relaxed fingers and wrist. And much more enjoyable.

Hi There, I bought a pair of lefty scissors at groom expo 09 and have just used them today. I am absolutely delighted with them! I have bought so many lefty scissors and none of them have come close to cutting at all. But your scissors not only cut they cut beautifully. I am sure my hands are going to love you too.
